Bison Wallet

Bison Wallet is a multi‑coin wallet that integrates the Decred Decentralized Exchange (DCRDEX) and provides built‑in market‑making and arbitrage capabilities. It lets users trade across different blockchain assets using atomic swaps, with trades settled on‑chain through a four‑transaction process and without charging per‑trade fees. A one‑time on‑chain registration fee is required, and the system enforces community rules and penalties to maintain orderly trading.

The wallet supports asset‑specific privacy and staking features: Decred funds can be anonymized with StakeShuffle and staked for block rewards, while Zcash uses unified addresses and shielded pools by default. By interacting directly with blockchain networks, Bison Wallet aims to reduce reliance on intermediaries, enhancing resistance to data collection and censorship.

Bison Wallet is developed for macOS, is considered stable, and is part of a broader ecosystem that includes Tatanka Mesh, a peer‑to‑peer protocol that decentralizes order‑book management and oracle services. The project’s source code, documentation, and build status are publicly available, and contributions are welcomed.
