CatBar is a macOS menu‑bar utility that connects directly to a RevenueCat account and displays key subscription metrics—such as monthly recurring revenue, total subscribers, and recent transactions—without opening the RevenueCat dashboard. The app fetches data from the RevenueCat API, storing credentials in the macOS Keychain, and can operate in a demo mode for quick evaluation.

The free tier offers a basic menu‑bar display, revenue goals, and a limited set of dashboard metrics. Upgrading to Pro unlocks detailed MRR, ARR, and subscriber figures, real‑time sale notifications, faster refresh intervals, charts, daily recaps, shareable revenue cards, and AI‑powered insights on newer macOS releases. All features run locally; no intermediate server processes user data.

CatBar targets developers and product managers who monitor in‑app subscription performance and prefer a lightweight, always‑visible overview on their desktop. It requires macOS 15 or later, with AI features available on macOS 26+. The app is distributed through the Mac App Store and can be purchased via an in‑app upgrade.
