Chatterino

Chatterino is a native desktop client that replaces the Twitch web chat with a more feature‑rich interface. It connects to Twitch and supports third‑party emote services such as BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ, and 7TV, offering both dark and light themes. Users can view multiple channels side‑by‑side, filter messages with custom ignore or highlight rules, and receive notifications when they are mentioned.

The application includes a “Streamer Mode” that hides chat content while OBS is running, and a mentions panel that aggregates all personal alerts in one place, helping streamers keep track of important messages. It also provides link previews, YouTube statistics, and emote previews, though these privacy features are disabled by default.

Designed to be lightweight on CPU and GPU, Chatterino runs on macOS and Windows 64‑bit, aiming to deliver a smoother, more customizable chat experience for both viewers and broadcasters.
