Neon Wallet

Neon Wallet is an Electron‑based client for the NEO blockchain that runs on macOS. It lets users create new wallets, encrypt private keys, and access accounts via Ledger hardware, raw private keys, encrypted keys, or stored profiles. The wallet supports the NEP‑6 standard for importing and exporting accounts, displays balances and real‑time prices for NEO and GAS in various currencies, and enables sending NEO, GAS, and any NEP‑5 token, including multi‑recipient transactions and GAS claims. Additional features include an address book, network switching between test and main nets, NEP‑9 QR code handling, participation in NEO token sales, and activity logs, with UI translations covering ten languages.

The application is built with the current LTS version of Node.js and managed through Yarn, offering development scripts for hot‑reloading, testing, and production builds. Installation is provided via pre‑compiled binaries, while source builds require standard Node dependencies and, on Linux, libusb libraries for hardware wallet support.

Neon Wallet targets NEO users who need a lightweight desktop interface for managing assets, interacting with token sales, and monitoring portfolio values, while offering multilingual UI and optional hardware‑wallet integration.
