Clementine

Music player and library organiser

Visit

Clementine provides a graphical interface for browsing, searching and playing music stored locally or accessed through a wide range of online services. It can stream internet radio from platforms such as Spotify, Soundcloud, SomaFM and many others, and also retrieve tracks stored on cloud providers like Box, Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive. Users can organise their collection with smart and dynamic playlists, import and export common playlist formats, and edit tags or fetch missing metadata from MusicBrainz.

The player supports additional media types including audio CDs, CUE‑sheet files and podcasts, and offers visualisations, lyric display and artist information. It can transcode files between formats such as MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and AAC, and download missing album artwork from services like Last.fm and Amazon. Remote control is possible via Android devices, a Wii Remote, MPRIS or command‑line interfaces, and it can sync music to iPods, iPhones, MTP devices or USB storage.

Clementine runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, using native desktop notifications on the latter two platforms. Its feature set focuses on a fast, easy‑to‑use experience for music playback and library management while supporting a broad ecosystem of streaming, cloud and hardware integration.
