Clockify

Clockify provides a free desktop client for macOS that lets individuals and teams record work hours directly from their computer. Users start a timer with a single click or keystroke, then stop it and add details such as project, task, tags, and billable status. In addition to manual entry, the desktop version can capture which applications and websites are used, allowing bulk creation of time entries based on that activity. This auto‑tracking capability is available in the version downloaded from the website, though it is omitted from the App Store build due to policy restrictions.

Recorded time syncs to Clockify’s web platform, where users can manage projects, invite collaborators, review timesheets, and generate exportable reports. The software supports macOS 12.0 and later and is positioned for agencies and freelancers needing straightforward time‑tracking and reporting tools.
