CopyQ
Clipboard Manager with Advanced Features.
The application monitors the system clipboard and records each entry in user‑defined tabs, preserving text, HTML, images, and custom formats. Items can be browsed, filtered, sorted, edited, tagged, and dragged between tabs, and they persist across sessions so that previously copied data can be re‑pasted at any time. Users can invoke pastes through configurable shortcuts, the tray menu, or the main window, and can also add notes or tags to individual entries.
A scripting API and command‑line interface allow automation and custom commands, while built‑in support for Vim‑style editing shortcuts provides advanced text manipulation. The program can ignore clipboard content from specified windows or containing particular text, offering fine‑grained control over what is stored. Appearance and behavior are highly configurable, and the tool works on Linux, Windows, and macOS 10.15+.
Installation is provided via native packages, installers, and universal formats such as Flatpak, with additional plugins and documentation available for extended functionality. The software is open‑source and offered at no cost.
