Cova is an autonomous monitoring agent that scans existing observability configurations to locate gaps where incidents might go unnoticed. When it identifies a blind spot, it creates a ready‑to‑use monitor tailored to the underlying system and automatically deploys it into the monitoring stack.

The tool integrates with a range of popular services, including PagerDuty, Datadog, Grafana, Sentry, New Relic, and others, allowing it to both read current alert rules and write new ones without manual intervention. This seamless connectivity lets teams keep their alerting coverage up to date across heterogeneous environments.

Cova is aimed at developers, site‑reliability engineers, and operations teams that need continuous, hands‑off assurance that their production systems are fully observed. It is currently in an experimental stage, offering a proof‑of‑concept for autonomous monitoring remediation.
