CoverLoad provides macOS users with a straightforward way to retrieve high‑resolution artwork from the iTunes Store for a wide range of media types, including audiobooks, ebooks, movies, music albums, podcasts, software, and TV shows. The application queries the iTunes Search API, allowing users to search for and download covers in standard size (up to 600 × 600 px) or high quality (up to 2400 × 2400 px), and saves the files locally on the Mac.

The tool is intended for anyone who maintains a personal media library in iTunes or similar players and wants to replace missing or low‑resolution images with official artwork. It offers a simple interface, automatic daily updates of available covers, and the ability to store the downloaded images anywhere on the system. The software is distributed free of charge, without ads or background telemetry, and can be installed via Homebrew Cask or MacUpdate.
