CrossPaste

CrossPaste creates a shared clipboard that works across macOS, Windows, Linux, and Android devices connected to the same local network. When a user copies text, images, files, or rich‑type content on one device, the data is encrypted end‑to‑end and instantly available for pasting on any other device without leaving the LAN. The tool runs a serverless, locally hosted service, so no external cloud or subscription is required.

In addition to cross‑device synchronization, each instance includes a full‑featured clipboard manager. It stores an unlimited history, supports quick keyboard shortcuts, drag‑and‑drop pasting, and automatically removes old entries. The manager handles multiple data formats such as plain text, HTML, rich text, links, images, and files.

The application is built with Kotlin Multiplatform, using a static site generated by Vite and Vue for its web interface. It leverages Realm for cross‑platform storage and offers auto‑start integration on macOS. The project is stable and open source, with community contributions and documentation available on its GitHub repository.
