Dremel DigiLab 3D Slicer
Securely slice your CAD files
The Dremel DigiLab 3D Slicer is a desktop application that converts CAD models into printable instructions for 3D printers. It runs on macOS and Windows and operates entirely offline, allowing users to slice STL or OBJ files without an internet connection. Built on the open‑source Cura engine, the software can generate G‑code for Dremel printers such as the 3D45, 3D40, and 3D20, as well as for other printers that support Cura‑compatible profiles.
The interface provides tools for importing files, positioning and transforming models, and visualizing them in solid, x‑ray, or layered views. Users can select printer and material settings, adjust infill, support structures, and build‑plate adhesion, and view estimates of print time, material usage, and cost before exporting the final slice.
The program is supplied pre‑loaded on a USB stick with Dremel printers and is also available for download. It requires recent operating‑system updates and, for 3D20 users, firmware version v1.5‑2018611 or later.
