Explorer

Explorer provides an interactive environment for statistical analysis and data mining that emphasizes graphical exploration and mouse‑driven manipulation. Users load datasets by dragging files into the launch window or using the clipboard, and the application supports a range of formats including Access databases and ARFF/KEEL files. After visual inspection, the tool can generate detailed numeric results for the completed analyses.

The interface centers on plots and charts that give quick insight into the magnitude and relationships of observed variables, while offering standard analytical functions such as contingency tables and animated visualizations. Selections can be made directly on the graphs, and the software includes utilities for unit conversion and data type handling.

Built with JavaScript and Electron, Explorer runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux (the latter via source build). It is distributed as a single executable for macOS and Windows, and can be launched from source with Node.js and npm. The program targets users who need an intuitive, visual approach to data exploration without the complexity of traditional statistical packages.
