Focus Launcher combines a minimal Android home screen, an app‑blocking system, and a screen‑time tracker into a single package. Its launcher presents a text‑based grid that retains icons while removing badges and can render apps in grayscale to reduce visual distraction. Users can create block rules that depend on conditions such as Wi‑Fi connection, allowing selective restriction of apps when certain networks are active.

The app records usage history and displays statistics directly within the launcher, letting users identify over‑used applications and add them to block lists or hide them from view. Rule editing and policy settings are accessible from the home screen, providing a unified workflow for managing both appearance and usage limits.

Focus Launcher operates without ads or personal data collection; crash reports and analytics are anonymized, and all user data remains on the device. It is offered free during its beta phase and does not require an account.
