Ghostfolio

Ghostfolio is a web‑based personal finance dashboard that lets users monitor their net worth by tracking cash, stocks, ETFs and cryptocurrencies across multiple accounts. It records transactions, calculates portfolio performance over various periods, and provides charts and static risk analysis to support data‑driven investment decisions. The application is built with TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Redis on the backend and Angular with Material and Bootstrap on the frontend, and it is offered as a Progressive Web App with dark and Zen modes for a mobile‑first experience.

The software is released under the AGPL‑3.0 license and can be run on the user’s own infrastructure via official Docker images for several Linux architectures, or accessed through a hosted cloud offering. It supports multi‑account management, import/export of transaction data, and emphasizes privacy and data ownership, making it suitable for individuals who trade on multiple platforms, follow buy‑and‑hold strategies, or prefer a minimalist alternative to spreadsheets.
