Hummingbird
Easily move and resize windows without mouse clicks, from anywhere within a window.
Hummingbird lets macOS users move and resize windows without needing to click the title bar or window edges. By holding a configurable shortcut key, the entire window area becomes a draggable and resizable surface, allowing adjustments from any point within the window’s bounds. This works on macOS 10.11 and later, including the visual changes introduced in macOS 11 “Big Sur” where title‑bar space is reduced.
The utility is aimed at users who prefer trackpads or who work with large windows that would otherwise require moving the cursor to the edges or corners. It enables quick nudging of background windows into view without disrupting the existing window stack, reducing the need for precise mouse clicks.
Hummingbird is an open‑source, free‑tier project that has reached a stable maturity level. It can be downloaded and used without cost, with an optional paid version available for additional features.
