Kwizaa Alpha lets groups create self‑running quiz leagues that operate without a central host. After a one‑time setup where a team selects a name, invites members, and chooses from ten predefined categories (such as science, history, music, and film), the platform automatically generates new quizzes on a chosen schedule—daily, weekly, or monthly. Participants receive email or Discord notifications when a quiz is available and can answer the questions at any time, eliminating the need for coordinated play sessions.

The service tracks individual scores and updates a live leaderboard after each round, fostering ongoing rivalry and friendly competition. Leagues can be customized by adjusting the number of questions (1‑50) and the frequency of new quizzes, allowing teams, office departments, or friend groups to tailor the experience to their preferences.
