LiClipse

LiClipse extends the Eclipse IDE with a set of lightweight editors that work out of the box for many programming and markup languages. It bundles TextMate bundles to simplify adding language support and includes a fast editor that offers multiple cursors, vertical indent guides, themed scrollbars, and enhanced text‑search powered by a Lucene index. HTML preview is available for reStructuredText, Markdown, and HTML files, and native installers streamline setup on macOS.

Usability improvements are applied across all Eclipse editors, providing features such as multi‑edition editing, improved code‑completion, and better handling of comments, auto‑indentation, and linked editing.
