MacSpoof provides a graphical way to modify the MAC address of a macOS device, targeting Apple Silicon hardware. It presents the current network interface, displays the default hardware address, and offers options to randomize or supply a custom address, applying the change with a single click. The tool also includes a reset function that restores the original MAC address automatically after a reboot.

The utility is aimed at users who need to bypass network restrictions such as Wi‑Fi time limits, captive‑portal sessions, or blocklists on public or venue networks. By presenting a different MAC address, it can unblock a device that has been denied access or reset usage counters, while also offering a privacy option that prevents trackers from logging the hardware identifier.

MacSpoof automates the underlying terminal commands required for MAC address spoofing, handling interface selection and generating addresses that resemble legitimate Apple hardware.
