MarkRight

It provides a lightweight editor for GitHub‑flavored Markdown with a live preview pane, allowing users to see formatted output while they type. The application runs as a native desktop program on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and can also be launched from the command line on macOS via a simple alias.

The codebase combines a ClojureScript front‑end built with shadow‑cljs and a Rust back‑end using Tauri, producing native binaries for each platform. Development scripts support live recompilation of the UI and rapid testing of the full application.

The project is released under the GPL v3 license and is distributed through standard package managers and direct download links for DMG, installer, MSI, DEB, and AppImage formats. It is considered stable for everyday note‑taking and documentation tasks.
