Marxico provides a Markdown‑based writing environment that stores and synchronizes notes through Evernote. It lets users create documents with standard Markdown features such as headings, bold and italic text, links, tables, and footnotes, while also supporting code highlighting, LaTeX expressions, flow charts, and sequence diagrams. The editor includes a live preview pane and can embed images and file attachments.

The application integrates tightly with Evernote’s notebook and tag system, enabling two‑way binding so changes made in Marxico are reflected in Evernote and vice versa. It offers offline access via a desktop client and a Chrome App, allowing users to continue working without an internet connection and later sync their edits.
