MeetingBar
Shows the next meeting in the menu bar
MeetingBar is a macOS menu‑bar utility that displays the next calendar event directly in the system status bar. It pulls data from all calendars synced with the macOS Calendar app, including Google calendars, and can show upcoming meetings with customizable titles or icons. Users can filter events by time window, all‑day status, guest presence, or acceptance state, and can expand the menu to list all events for today and tomorrow.
The app integrates with more than fifty online meeting services—such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, Skype, WebEx, and Discord—allowing one‑click joining or launching of meetings in the appropriate desktop or web client. Keyboard shortcuts enable quick creation of new meetings and immediate entry to the next online session. Additional features include macOS notifications, optional AppleScript actions, and the ability to bookmark favorite meetings for fast access.
Installation is available via the Mac App Store, Homebrew, or direct download, and the app can be set to start at login. Configuration covers preferred browsers, meeting‑app handling, and optional display of notes, locations, and attendees. The project is open source, stable, and supports community contributions.
