The web app lets users record thoughts instantly with a simple title or raw text field, and optionally attach voice input, images, or a category. After capture, ideas can be opened for editing, where users may add structure, refine the description, and define a next‑step action. The interface also provides a list view that can be filtered by type, status, or upcoming due dates for items that already have a next step assigned.

All data is stored locally in the browser on the current device, and a backup file can be exported and later restored to preserve ideas, links, and due dates when switching browsers or devices. The backup mechanism replaces the existing board on import, ensuring continuity of the captured information.

The tool includes basic collaboration features for sharing feedback via email and prompts to prevent loss of unsaved changes. Its design emphasizes a calm, lightweight experience focused on quick idea capture, optional clarification, and simple planning of subsequent actions.
