Mural Paing Calculator by Sketchar

The tool lets mural artists upload a sketch of their design and specify the wall’s width, height, and surface texture. By selecting a spray‑paint brand from a preset list (such as MTN 94, Montana, Molotow, Loop, or others) the calculator estimates the number of cans required and the total cost in US dollars. Users can also adjust palette complexity, indicating how many colors are used, which influences the amount of paint needed.

Input fields include wall material multipliers for smooth, plastered, brick, rough concrete, or wood surfaces, and the ability to add additional supplies or a project name. The interface accepts JPG or PNG files up to 10 MB and provides a quick “suggest a brand” option for brands not listed.

Designed for mural creators who need a concrete estimate of paint consumption and budgeting, the calculator is offered as a free, web‑based utility by Sketchar and is currently in an experimental stage of development.
