The application provides a native Markdown editor that supports CommonMark and GitHub‑Flavored Markdown extensions such as tables, code blocks, math formulas, task lists, footnotes, mermaid and ECharts diagrams. Images in common formats are rendered inline, and users can choose from numerous light and dark themes or define custom ones. The editor includes a syntax‑insertion menu, a dedicated Markdown keyboard on iOS, outline navigation, word‑count, and split view for simultaneous editing and preview.

Documents are organized either through a Folders mode, which lets users create, edit, and manage Markdown or Textbundle files within a filesystem‑like hierarchy, offering full‑text search, drag‑and‑drop image insertion, and unified image storage. On iPadOS and iOS, the mode can link to Dropbox folders for cloud‑based access.

A separate Library mode is optimized for note‑taking, presenting a streamlined interface for creating and browsing notes without the full folder structure. The app also includes publishing features that enable static blog generation and sharing of Markdown content directly from the platform.
