NEES Core Engine

The NEES Core Engine is a runtime layer that sits between an application and an external AI model, evaluating request intent, identity, memory scope, policy rules and behavior constraints before a response is generated. It intercepts calls to providers such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or local models, applying governance logic and attaching trace metadata that records the decision process for debugging and review.

Developers building AI‑driven products that require predictable, auditable behavior can integrate the engine without replacing their existing model provider.
