Netflix Playground is a mobile app aimed at children eight years old and younger that combines video streaming with interactive games. Users can sign in with an existing Netflix account and instantly access a library of games featuring characters from popular preschool shows such as Peppa Pig, Sesame Street, and Trash Truck. The app works offline, allowing kids to play without an internet connection.

The experience is positioned as a curated environment for discovery, learning, and play, with parental controls built in to give caregivers confidence over the content. No advertisements, in‑app purchases, or additional fees are required; the service is included with any Netflix subscription.

It is currently available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, the Philippines, and New Zealand, with a broader rollout planned for later in the month. The app is intended to let children explore familiar characters and worlds while parents benefit from a single, ad‑free platform for entertainment and enrichment.
