OKBrain Harness

OKBrain Harness is an open‑source orchestration layer for AI agents that provides a personal, self‑hosted alternative to cloud‑based chat services. It runs as a lightweight Next.js web application and stores all user data locally in SQLite, allowing users to retain full control over their information. The system supports infinite memory, tracking interactions and automatically forgetting as needed, and can host multi‑agent conversations that function like a group chat.

The platform is model‑agnostic, working with any AI provider—including locally hosted models—and includes built‑in capabilities for internet search with inline citations, event and calendar management, and a coding assistant for creating mini applications. Documentation is organized in a Notion‑style format, and the interface is available as a progressive web app for mobile use. It can be deployed on macOS, cloud virtual machines, or shared as public web pages, and supports multiple trusted users for collaborative scenarios.
