Overview

Overview provides a native macOS utility that generates live previews of any open window, updating in real time at a user‑defined frame rate. The previews can be shown or hidden automatically and include optional overlays that indicate the source application name, window title, and focus status, allowing users to glance at key information without switching contexts.

The tool also serves as a task‑switcher: clicking a preview or using configurable keyboard shortcuts activates the associated application, and it supports saving and restoring window layouts, filtering windows, and applying visual customizations such as shadows, opacity, border styles, and aspect‑ratio locks. A JSON editor lets users define custom shortcuts and layout configurations.
