Self-hosted daemon for AI coding agents
A self‑hosted daemon enables developers to run AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Copilot and Pi directly on their own machines. The daemon maintains the full local development environment, allowing agents to access the same tools, libraries, and configurations that a developer uses. It can be controlled from a desktop, terminal, or native mobile app, providing a keyboard‑first interface, local voice commands, and scriptable interactions.
The platform supports multiple providers through a single interface, letting users select the most suitable agent for a given task. Sessions are orchestrated across devices without requiring manual port configuration, and communication can be routed through an end‑to‑end encrypted relay for remote access. The daemon is available for macOS and is distributed as open‑source software with a stable maturity level.
Typical use cases include planning, implementing, and reviewing code by delegating subtasks to different agents, tracking progress through a web dashboard, and managing commits and file changes. The system is designed for developers who want to keep AI assistance local, maintain full control over their environment, and interact with agents from any surface.
