PDFify

The app converts scanned documents, images, emails, web pages and other visual sources into searchable PDFs using OCR that supports more than one languages. It can also generate PDF/A files for long‑term archiving and apply intelligent compression to reduce file size. Users can drag and drop files, capture content from a scanner, iPhone camera, screenshot or clipboard, and choose whether to keep the original layout or limit it to DIN A4.

Batch processing is available through macOS Finder Quick Actions, allowing entire folders to be processed with a single command. The software lets you overwrite originals or create new files, and it can produce linearized PDFs for faster web loading. An undo function lets any step be reverted, and OCR can be performed with either Apple Vision or the Tesseract engine.
