Penveil provides a structured workflow for authors who want to complete a book from concept to finished manuscript. Users begin by supplying a rough idea, after which the system generates a full blueprint that includes title, premise, chapter outline, and character details within a minute. The platform then guides writing through “chapter contracts” that specify purpose, conflict, and state change for each section, while guardrails surface established story rules to catch contradictions early.

Four writing modes—Co‑Write, Guided, Voice dictation, and Free Write—allow authors to work in the style that fits them, and existing drafts in .txt or .docx can be imported to continue where work left off. Finished work can be exported as Word, PDF, or ePub, and the service guarantees that manuscripts remain private and are never used to train AI models.
