pgpulse
Observe every Postgres. Scale with confidence.
pgpulse provides continuous observability for PostgreSQL databases by aggregating metrics from eleven health domains—such as replication, WAL pipeline, bloat, and freeze risk—into a single Pulse Score ranging from 0 to 100. The system evaluates each domain independently, weights them by impact, and highlights the lowest‑scoring areas so teams can focus on the most critical issues. When a metric crosses a predefined threshold, a “gate” fires, indicating the problem’s severity, logging the incident, and offering an instant recommendation for remediation.
The platform works with any PostgreSQL provider, including managed services like Supabase, AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure PostgreSQL, and self‑hosted instances. It automatically collects metrics without configuration, presents dashboards, and routes alerts to chosen channels. Firing gates are deduplicated and include domain tags, allowing users to drill down from a high‑level score to detailed metric views and suggested fixes.
pgpulse is aimed at database administrators and development teams that need real‑time health monitoring and actionable insights to maintain performance and scale PostgreSQL deployments confidently. It delivers built‑in health checks, alerting, and a unified scoring model to simplify database observability.
