Riftmap
See what breaks before you ship - across every repo
Riftmap scans a GitLab or GitHub organization and automatically builds a visual map of all cross‑repository dependencies, including Terraform modules, Docker images, Helm charts, CI templates, and language‑specific packages such as Go, npm, and Python. By reading the source code directly, it discovers relationships that are not explicitly declared, presenting a single graph that reflects the actual runtime architecture.
The tool lets engineers explore the graph interactively: clicking a node reveals its downstream consumers, the blast radius of a change, and which artifacts are using a particular version. This enables teams to assess the impact of updates—such as a base‑image upgrade—before committing code, reducing unexpected failures and easing onboarding when knowledge resides in individual developers.
Riftmap is offered as both a cloud‑hosted and self‑hosted service, with a free read‑only view for a limited number of repositories. It targets development organizations that manage many interdependent repositories and need an automated way to track dependencies across multiple ecosystems without manual graph reconstruction.
