Sengi
Mastodon and Pleroma desktop client
Sengi provides a desktop‑focused client for Mastodon and Pleroma, modeled after the layout of Tweetdeck and the Mastodon web interface. It emphasizes multi‑account handling, allowing users to monitor several timelines in a single column that can remain pinned to the side of the screen while working elsewhere. Interaction follows typical desktop conventions such as right‑click and left‑click actions.
The application is available both as a browser‑hosted webapp and as a cross‑platform desktop package for macOS, Windows, and Linux, with the Electron source maintained in a separate repository. It is built with Angular 7, NGXS state management, SASS styling, and Electron 10, and is released under the AGPL‑3.0 license.
A Docker image can be used to self‑host the webapp, exposing it on port 80 and providing a simple landing page for quick access. The project is stable at version 1.0.0 and welcomes external contributions.
