SnippetsLab is a code‑snippet manager that lets developers store, organize, and retrieve snippets using nesting folders, tags, smart groups and shortcuts. It supports syntax highlighting for more than 600 languages, automatic language detection for the 50 most common languages, and automatic formatting, while Markdown snippets can include Mermaid diagrams, LaTeX formulas, inline styles and a live side‑by‑side preview with scroll sync.

The app allows attachments such as screenshots, videos, documentation or configuration files to be linked to any snippet, and a menu‑bar assistant provides quick creation, browsing, copying and insertion via extensive keyboard shortcuts. Integration points include import from CodeBox, Quiver, Gist, JSON and plain text, and a built‑in Gist publisher for GitHub. Users can also access the library through Alfred or Raycast extensions.

SnippetsLab offers 18 built‑in visual themes and custom CSS styling, along with UI layout tweaks, enabling developers to tailor the appearance and workflow to their preferences while benefiting from full‑text fuzzy search, smart filters and intelligent ranking.
