Summify MCP

Knowledge pods for Claude, ChatGPT, and any AI agent.

Visit

Summify MCP implements the Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets AI assistants retrieve and search external knowledge stored in Summify pods. By exposing a single URL, the MCP server makes a user’s library of notes, recordings, transcripts, and other content available to any compatible AI tool, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or other MCP‑enabled applications. The protocol provides operations like listing pods, fetching pod overviews, retrieving content, and performing keyword searches, enabling real‑time access to personal data directly within a conversation.

The system is aimed at users who want their AI assistants to work with their own curated information rather than generic internet sources. It supports use cases such as academic research, where AI can cross‑reference papers and lecture notes; content creation, where AI can emulate frameworks from admired creators; and software development, where AI can cite exact implementation details from technical documentation. By connecting a personal knowledge base, the AI can generate answers, summaries, and strategies that are grounded in the user’s specific resources.

Setup consists of two steps: adding the MCP URL to a compatible client and authenticating once. After configuration, the client can invoke the provided endpoints to retrieve pod briefs, overviews, full content, or perform searches, allowing the AI to incorporate the user’s own material into its responses without additional code or API keys.
