Tell

Mac widgets, made fun.

Visit

Tell is a native macOS utility that visualizes system statistics as interactive three‑dimensional objects. After installing, the app resides in the menu bar; selecting its icon spawns floating widgets that can be placed on the desktop. Users can enable a floating mode that removes the window frame, keeping the 3D objects visible above other applications, and they may customize which modules appear and which visual collections are used.

The software currently offers five modules: network speed and ping with a control to toggle Wi‑Fi, audio playback information that reflects media from any source, CPU load displayed as a bubbling flask, battery charge visualized with colour changes, and a programmable shortcut keyboard with four keys. Each module updates in real time and reacts visually to the underlying data.

Modules can be mixed and matched from a growing library of 3D assets, and the app provides an always‑on‑top overlay without requiring an account. It runs on macOS 14 or later on both Apple Silicon and Intel hardware, and updates are supplied free of charge.
