threadfork provides a local‑first AI notetaker that records meeting transcripts, generates speaker‑aware notes, and builds a searchable knowledge graph of people, decisions, projects and terms. The system captures audio on a Mac, extracts a clean transcript, and automatically links entities across sessions so that the meeting memory grows cumulatively rather than remaining isolated. Users can query the graph by concept, retrieve linked meetings, and export the data in formats they choose.

The tool is aimed at consultants, founders and operators who need an editable, private record of their discussions without relying on cloud services. Because all processing runs on‑device, no bot joins the call, no audio is uploaded, and the user retains full control over storage and export options.
