Timetrap
Simple timetracker.
Timetrap is a command‑line time‑tracking tool written in Ruby. It lets users create named timesheets, start and stop entries with simple commands, and attach free‑form notes to each interval. Entries can be edited, and the current running entry can be displayed or queried at any time.
The interface supports natural‑language time specifications, allowing check‑ins and check‑outs to be back‑dated or scheduled using phrases such as “5 minutes ago” or “next Monday at 10 am”. A set of built‑in formatters—text, CSV, iCal, JSON, and ID listings—provides flexible output for reporting or importing into other tools.
Timetrap is distributed as a Ruby gem, installing a `t` executable that can be abbreviated for rapid use. It is positioned for users who prefer a lightweight, terminal‑based workflow for tracking work periods without a graphical interface.
