Vigil AI

Vigil AI operates as an autonomous security agent for APIs, continuously monitoring incoming traffic to identify malicious scraping or other threat behaviors. It intercepts suspicious requests before they reach the application, aiming to protect the underlying service from automated abuse. The system generates explanations for each detection, allowing developers to understand the reasoning behind the decision and to adjust policies if needed.

Integration is designed to be minimal, requiring only a few lines of code to embed the agent into an existing API stack. Once deployed, the agent runs independently, handling threat identification and response without manual intervention. Its explainable AI component provides insight into the patterns that trigger alerts, facilitating debugging and compliance reporting.
