ZOOM M3 Edit & Play

The application lets users open M/S RAW format recordings captured with the M3 MicTrak, listen to them, and modify volume and stereo width before exporting. Exported files can be saved as standard stereo audio in either 32‑bit float or 24‑bit depth. A built‑in normalizer adjusts overall loudness to an optimal level without applying compression.

In addition to audio processing, the software provides controls for the M3 recorder itself, allowing users to change recorder settings and automatically synchronize the device’s date and time with the computer’s clock. This ensures metadata consistency across recordings.

The program runs on macOS 10.15 through 15 and is offered as a free download from the vendor’s website, with a separate Windows version also available. It is positioned as a companion tool for the ZOOM M3 MicTrak hardware.
