Alma provides a desktop environment for orchestrating multiple AI language‑model providers. Users can add and switch among services such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, or custom APIs from a single interface, allowing conversations to be routed to the chosen backend without leaving the application.

The chat window supports markdown, code highlighting, and streaming responses, while an “intelligent memory” feature records preferences and context across sessions. Memory management tools let users view, organize, and delete stored information, giving control over what the assistant retains. Integrated web search supplies up‑to‑date data, and advanced tool use enables the AI to perform calculations or data analysis through built‑in extensions.

Alma is currently packaged for macOS on Apple Silicon, with Intel macOS, Windows, and Linux binaries announced for future release. The application emphasizes a clean, unified experience for users who need to interact with several AI providers and retain conversational history in one place.
