Athas
Lightweight code editor
Athas is a lightweight, fast code editor built with Tauri, combining Rust and React to run on macOS and other platforms. It provides an integrated terminal, Vim‑style keybindings, and a command palette that supports fuzzy file lookup and global text search, allowing developers to navigate and execute actions in milliseconds.
The editor includes built‑in Git functionality, enabling users to stage, commit, push, and resolve conflicts without leaving the workspace. It also offers pull‑request review tools, showing files, commits, and comments directly inside the editor, and supports reviewing and checking out PR branches with a single click.
Athas distinguishes itself by embedding AI agents powered by ACP, which can inspect code, execute tasks, and operate within the project’s context. This AI assistance is intended to streamline routine development workflows while keeping the interface minimal and focused on core editing tasks.
