AudioRelay

AudioRelay enables real‑time audio streaming between a macOS computer and a smartphone over Wi‑Fi or USB. It can capture the phone’s microphone and forward the signal to the PC, allowing the device to serve as a wireless microphone for applications that require audio input. Conversely, it can transmit the computer’s audio output to the phone, turning the phone into a wireless speaker or headset for music, movies, or other media.

The software supports multiple simultaneous connections, so the same audio stream can be delivered to several phones in different rooms, facilitating shared listening experiences. A USB connection is also offered for users who prefer a wired link to reduce latency further. The design emphasizes low delay, aiming to provide a smoother experience than typical Bluetooth audio transmission.
