CHIRP
Tool for programming amateur radio
CHIRP is a free, open‑source utility for programming amateur radio transceivers. It runs on macOS and provides a graphical interface that lets users read, edit, and write configuration data such as frequencies, channels, and settings to a wide range of radio models from many manufacturers.
The tool supports an extensive list of devices, including popular Baofeng, Yaesu, Icom, Kenwood, and many other brands, and can import and export data in several common formats. Users can also connect to external data sources, making it possible to manage radio memories from spreadsheets or other repositories.
CHIRP is aimed at hobbyists and developers who need a reliable way to configure and backup their radios. The project offers documentation, a mailing list, and an issue tracker for support, and it welcomes contributions such as new radio implementations or bug fixes.
