DigiCheck NG

DigiCheck NG is a macOS‑focused audio analysis suite that provides precise metering, spectral, and waveform visualizations for users of RME audio interfaces. The software communicates directly with RME hardware through proprietary FPGA‑based metering, allowing accurate measurements while keeping CPU load low. Its modular interface lets users arrange up to four instrument panes per window, save custom layouts as workspaces, and resize windows freely.

Core instruments include two‑channel and multi‑channel level meters with peak, RMS, phase correlation, and warning thresholds; a global level overview; a real‑time FFT spectral analyzer; a vector scope for phase and goniometer display; a totalizer that combines several views; a surround meter with R128 loudness; and an oscilloscope with trigger and afterglow features. Recent updates added classic VU meters that show averaged loudness and a scrolling spectroscope for detailed frequency monitoring.

The application runs on macOS 10.15 or later on Metal‑capable hardware and is distributed at no cost to owners of compatible RME interfaces. It is also offered in beta for Windows, including ARM64 Windows 11 support.
