Open Sound Meter

Open Sound Meter is a cross‑platform audio analysis tool that lets users measure and tune sound systems in real time. It offers a straightforward interface where all core functions—such as real‑time analysis, magnitude, phase, impulse response, coherence, group delay, and spectrogram—are accessible with a single click. The application runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and a companion iPad version is available through the App Store.

The software supports typical measurement workflows: users can record SPL levels, calculate wavelengths, and generate reference signals, while also providing utilities like virtual summation, difference, and averaging of signals.
