DNS Optimizer

DNS Optimizer lets users on iPhone, iPad, and Mac switch DNS servers for Wi‑Fi and cellular connections with a single tap. It includes a set of pre‑configured servers such as Cloudflare, Google Public DNS, and Quad9, and also allows the addition of custom DNS endpoints, including encrypted options using DNS over HTTPS or DNS over TLS.

The app can run latency benchmarks that test multiple DNS services and present the results, helping users identify the fastest resolver for their network. It also offers profiles that block ads, malware, or enforce parental controls, and it provides settings aimed at reducing lag and ping for online gaming.

All functionality is bundled in a single utility that combines DNS configuration, performance testing, and content‑filtering features for Apple devices, and it is distributed as freeware.
