Documize is a self‑hosted knowledge‑management platform that lets teams create, organize, and maintain documentation without relying on cloud services. It stores content in a single executable binary and requires only a supported database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, making deployment straightforward on Linux, Windows, macOS, or ARM devices. Users can structure information with labels, spaces, and categories, and employ two‑tier templates and composable content blocks that include rich text, code, markdown, and embedded external resources.

The system includes built‑in workflows for content approval, version control, and lifecycle management, allowing both technical and non‑technical contributors to collaborate under defined permissions.
