Electron Cash

Electron Cash is a lightweight client for Bitcoin Cash that uses Simplified Payment Verification (SPV) to operate without downloading the full blockchain. It stores private keys locally and encrypts them, allowing users to back up wallets with a mnemonic seed phrase and recover funds if needed. Transactions are signed on the user’s device, while a decentralized network of servers indexes the blockchain and validates transaction history.

The wallet supports features such as CashTokens, multisignature accounts, and privacy enhancements like CashFusion coinjoins and stealth (RPA) addresses. It also offers a watching‑only mode for cold‑storage use and the ability to export private keys for compatibility with other Bitcoin Cash clients. Electron Cash runs on macOS, Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS, and is distributed under the MIT License.
